An internationally expanding fintech organization is seeking a distinguished Director – FinTech Cybersecurity Operations to lead enterprise-wide security strategy, safeguard mission-critical financial platforms, and strengthen cyber resilience across an evolving ecosystem of digital banking, payment infrastructure, financial APIs, cloud services, and intelligent financial applications.
Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will oversee multidisciplinary security teams responsible for cyber defense, threat intelligence, cloud security, security engineering, incident response, vulnerability management, and governance. Your leadership will shape the organization’s long-term cybersecurity vision while ensuring the protection of millions of financial transactions and sensitive digital assets.
Executive Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategy across fintech platforms.
- Lead Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and cyber defense initiatives.
- Oversee cloud security architecture for digital banking and payment systems.
- Develop proactive cyber resilience and business continuity programmes.
- Direct vulnerability management, penetration testing, and security assurance activities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
- Establish enterprise security governance, policies, and operational standards.
- Lead incident response planning, cyber crisis management, and forensic investigations.
- Evaluate emerging cyber threats affecting financial technology ecosystems.
- Present cybersecurity risk assessments and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Build a high-performance security culture through mentoring and professional development.

Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience leading cybersecurity programmes within fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security, enterprise risk, threat intelligence, and security operations.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making abilities.
