A globally expanding fintech institution is seeking a distinguished Director – Financial Compliance & Regulatory Strategy to oversee enterprise compliance programs supporting digital banking, payment technologies, digital assets, financial innovation, and cross-border financial services.
This executive leadership role is designed for an accomplished compliance professional capable of building a world-class governance framework that enables innovation while ensuring the organization operates with the highest standards of regulatory integrity, operational transparency, and ethical business conduct.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide compliance and regulatory strategies.
- Lead compliance governance across digital banking, payment platforms, and fintech operations.
- Oversee regulatory reporting, internal compliance monitoring, and enterprise policy management.
- Partner with executive leadership to align business growth with evolving regulatory expectations.
- Conduct enterprise compliance risk assessments and remediation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Cybersecurity, Product, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Monitor emerging financial regulations and recommend strategic responses.
- Build compliance awareness programs across the organization.
- Lead regulatory examinations, audits, and internal governance reviews.
- Present compliance insights and strategic recommendations to executive management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive leadership experience in compliance within fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
- Deep understanding of financial governance, digital finance regulation, enterprise risk management, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
