The Digital Payments Infrastructure Manager serves as the operational command center, ensuring uninterrupted performance across payment rails, gateways, and settlement systems.
Mission Objectives
- Guarantee high availability and reliability of payment systems
- Minimize downtime and transaction failures across platforms
- Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and resilience
- Align infrastructure capabilities with evolving transaction volumes
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of payment processing systems, including cards, wallets, and instant payments
- Monitor system performance metrics such as latency, uptime, and transaction success rates
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks within payment flows and infrastructure components
- Coordinate incident response for system outages or disruptions
- Implement infrastructure upgrades to support increasing transaction volumes
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture improvements
Technical Expectations
- Strong understanding of payment processing ecosystems and settlement cycles
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and system monitoring tools
