Position Overview
A well-established organization is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure business operations adhere to applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and corporate governance standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting ethical business practices, mitigating compliance risks, and supporting a strong culture of integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and internal assessments.
- Identify regulatory risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management.
- Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver compliance awareness training to employees.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and records.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, and operational teams on compliance initiatives.
- Monitor regulatory developments and communicate relevant updates.
- Promote a culture of ethics and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in compliance, governance, audit, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems.
- Professional compliance certifications are an advantage.
