Build the Infrastructure Powering Institutional Bitcoin Banking
A globally recognized fintech banking institution is expanding its Digital Asset Engineering Division and is seeking an accomplished Bitcoin Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade Bitcoin infrastructure supporting institutional custody operations, treasury management, cross-border settlements, digital payment services, and high-availability blockchain networks.
This is a rare opportunity to work at the forefront of financial innovation where Bitcoin technology intersects with enterprise banking architecture. Rather than maintaining conventional financial applications, you will engineer resilient, secure, and scalable Bitcoin ecosystems that enable regulated institutional participation in digital asset markets while supporting the organization’s long-term technology strategy.
You will collaborate with Blockchain Engineers, Cryptography Specialists, Platform Engineers, Cybersecurity Teams, DevOps Engineers, Software Architects, Product Managers, Compliance Professionals, Risk Specialists, and Executive Technology Leadership to deliver mission-critical infrastructure capable of supporting global financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise Bitcoin node infrastructure.
- Deploy and optimize highly available Bitcoin network environments.
- Build secure wallet infrastructure for institutional digital asset operations.
- Develop blockchain monitoring and network observability platforms.
- Integrate Bitcoin infrastructure with enterprise payment systems.
- Build APIs supporting digital asset services.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Optimize blockchain synchronization and network performance.
- Strengthen operational resilience through disaster recovery planning.
- Conduct infrastructure security assessments and capacity planning.
- Produce technical architecture documentation.
- Mentor engineering teams on Bitcoin infrastructure best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7–10 years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Proven experience with blockchain infrastructure, Linux administration, distributed systems, or cloud engineering.
- Strong understanding of Bitcoin network architecture, cryptographic principles, and enterprise security practices.
