SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE OVERVIEW
The role centers on designing a multi-layer blockchain infrastructure, comprising:
- Layer 1 / Layer 2 Blockchain Integrations
- Smart Contract Execution Environments
- Off-Chain Data Oracles and Middleware
- Decentralized Financial Protocols (DeFi)
PRIMARY ENGINEERING OBJECTIVES
To build secure, scalable, and high-performance blockchain systems capable of supporting:
- Digital asset issuance
- Decentralized lending and liquidity pools
- Tokenized financial instruments
CORE TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Blockchain Infrastructure Engineering
- Design and deploy distributed ledger systems (Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger)
- Optimize consensus mechanisms and transaction throughput
- Implement Layer 2 scaling solutions (rollups, sidechains)
2. Smart Contract Development & Security
- Develop secure smart contracts using Solidity or Rust
- Conduct formal verification and security audits
- Implement upgradeable contract frameworks and governance models
3. DeFi Protocol Engineering
- Build decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, and staking systems
- Design liquidity optimization algorithms
- Integrate on-chain and off-chain financial data sources
4. Risk & Security Systems
- Implement real-time monitoring for smart contract vulnerabilities
- Develop fraud detection and anomaly tracking systems
- Ensure secure key management and wallet infrastructure
TECHNOLOGY STACK
- Languages: Solidity, Rust, Go
- Tools: Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes
- Data: IPFS, decentralized storage systems
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 8–14 years in blockchain engineering or distributed systems
- Proven experience in DeFi protocol development and smart contract security
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and decentralized architectures
- Familiarity with regulatory considerations for digital assets in UAE
