The Opportunity
A detail-oriented Specialist is required to strengthen the operational backbone of a high-volume digital payments environment.
The position focuses on the complete post-transaction lifecycle—from payment processing and reconciliation through settlement, exception management and operational performance analysis.
It is particularly suited to a fintech professional who combines financial-services knowledge with strong operational discipline and analytical capability.
Core Responsibilities

Monitor daily payment-processing and settlement activities.

Manage transaction exceptions, reversals and operational discrepancies.

Perform reconciliation across payment platforms, financial institutions and internal systems.

Investigate settlement breaks and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.

Monitor payment success rates, processing times and operational KPIs.

Identify recurring transaction failures and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate with technology teams during payment-system incidents.
-
Maintain accurate operational records and settlement documentation.

Support improvements to payment-processing workflows.
-
Analyse transaction data to identify operational inefficiencies.

Assist with payment-platform migrations and system enhancements.

Develop operational reports for management.

Establish procedures for handling high-priority transaction exceptions.

Support continuous improvement across the payments lifecycle.
Professional Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.

4–7 years of experience in payments, banking operations, fintech or financial transaction processing.

Strong understanding of payment flows, settlement and reconciliation.

Advanced Excel skills; SQL or data-analytics experience is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Ability to investigate complex transaction discrepancies.

Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Experience with payment gateways, digital wallets or transaction platforms is preferred.
