A fast-growing fintech institution is recruiting a detail-oriented Cross-Border Payments Operations Specialist to support international payment processing, transaction settlement, correspondent banking operations, foreign exchange coordination, and operational risk management.
You will play a key role in ensuring secure, timely, and compliant cross-border payment services for corporate and retail clients across international financial markets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process and monitor international payment transactions.
- Coordinate settlement activities with banking and payment partners.
- Investigate payment exceptions and transaction discrepancies.
- Support foreign exchange and treasury operations.
- Maintain operational compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Produce operational performance reports and reconciliation documentation.
- Collaborate with customer support and payment technology teams.
- Recommend workflow improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in payment platform testing and implementation projects.
- Assist with audit and operational risk reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in payment operations, banking, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of international payment workflows and settlement processes.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
