A rapidly evolving digital asset and fintech innovation ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a Senior Tokenomics Designer to architect, model, and optimize the economic frameworks behind next-generation blockchain-powered financial systems, digital assets, and programmable financial ecosystems.
This role sits at the intersection of financial engineering, blockchain economics, decentralized systems design, and fintech product innovation. The ecosystem spans tokenized financial instruments, digital payment rails, asset-backed tokens, stable-value settlement systems, AI-integrated incentive structures, and programmable liquidity networks.
The successful candidate will design the underlying economic logic that governs how digital value is created, distributed, incentivized, and sustained across complex fintech ecosystems operating at scale across the Gulf region and global markets.
This is a strategic systems-design role—not a traditional analytics position—focused on building the economic architecture of future financial networks.
Core Responsibilities
Token Economy Design & Architecture
- Design end-to-end tokenomic models for digital financial ecosystems and blockchain-based fintech platforms
- Define issuance, supply dynamics, utility mechanisms, and value capture structures for digital assets
- Build incentive systems for users, merchants, validators, liquidity providers, and ecosystem participants
- Develop sustainable economic frameworks ensuring long-term token stability and ecosystem growth
- Model inflationary and deflationary mechanics within digital financial systems
Financial Systems Engineering & Simulation
- Create quantitative models simulating token behavior across market conditions and user activity patterns
- Conduct scenario analysis for liquidity flow, transaction demand, and network participation
- Stress-test token ecosystems under volatility, adoption shifts, and macroeconomic changes
- Evaluate systemic risks within decentralized and hybrid financial architectures
- Optimize token velocity, utility depth, and economic sustainability
Product & Ecosystem Integration
- Collaborate with fintech product managers, blockchain engineers, and AI teams on ecosystem design
- Align tokenomics models with digital payment systems, embedded finance products, and DeFi infrastructures
- Support integration of token economies into real-world financial use cases
- Translate economic models into functional product requirements and system behaviors
- Ensure seamless interaction between token systems and user-facing financial applications
Governance & Strategic Advisory
- Advise executive leadership on digital asset strategy and economic system design
- Develop governance frameworks for decentralized financial ecosystems
- Support regulatory alignment considerations for tokenized financial products
- Contribute to strategic roadmap planning for digital asset ecosystem expansion
- Provide economic insights guiding long-term platform sustainability
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Blockchain Systems, or related fields
- 6–12 years of experience in tokenomics design, blockchain economics, fintech systems design, or quantitative financial modeling
- Strong understanding of decentralized systems, digital assets, and financial market mechanics
- Advanced analytical and mathematical modeling capabilities
- Experience working with fintech, crypto, or digital asset ecosystems
Preferred Technical Expertise
- Tokenomics modeling frameworks
