About the Opportunity
An internationally recognized fintech banking organization is seeking an accomplished Senior Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer – Digital Banking Platforms to safeguard the quality, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise-scale digital banking solutions. As the organization accelerates its digital transformation initiatives across mobile banking, internet banking, digital payments, lending platforms, wealth management, embedded finance, and AI-powered financial services, quality engineering has become a strategic pillar of its technology roadmap.
This role is ideal for an experienced quality professional with extensive expertise in software testing, automation engineering, quality governance, test strategy, and financial systems validation. You will work alongside software engineers, DevOps specialists, cybersecurity professionals, business analysts, product managers, UX/UI designers, compliance teams, and enterprise architects to ensure every financial application is delivered with exceptional stability, security, usability, and regulatory compliance.
The successful candidate will influence quality standards across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that innovative fintech products consistently exceed customer expectations and international quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise QA/QC strategies for digital banking applications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and quality validation frameworks.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, system, performance, security, accessibility, and user acceptance testing.
- Lead automated testing initiatives using modern testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate mobile banking applications, payment gateways, API banking services, digital wallets, customer onboarding platforms, and financial transaction systems.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring production issues and recommend preventive improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal quality policies, and secure software development standards.
- Monitor application performance, transaction accuracy, and platform reliability under high-volume workloads.
- Establish quality metrics, dashboards, and executive reports for continuous improvement.
- Mentor QA engineers and promote a culture of quality throughout the engineering organization.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, and post-deployment quality reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance, quality control, or test engineering within fintech, banking, payment technology, or enterprise software.
- Proven experience testing mission-critical financial systems.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, DevOps, and modern quality engineering practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
