An internationally expanding fintech banking organization is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Fintech Platform Engineer to architect, engineer, and optimize mission-critical financial technology platforms that power secure, resilient, and highly scalable digital banking services. This opportunity is ideal for an engineering professional who excels in designing enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, API ecosystems, automation frameworks, and high-availability banking platforms capable of supporting millions of daily financial transactions.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, DevOps professionals, enterprise architects, data engineers, product managers, compliance experts, and digital banking executives to build modern financial infrastructure that supports digital payments, real-time settlement, open banking, embedded finance, AI-driven banking services, and next-generation customer experiences.
The successful candidate will contribute directly to the organization’s long-term technology roadmap by implementing innovative engineering solutions that strengthen operational resilience, regulatory compliance, platform performance, and customer trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly available cloud-native fintech platforms.
- Engineer resilient infrastructure supporting core banking services, payment gateways, digital wallets, and API banking.
- Build scalable microservices and event-driven architectures for financial applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen platform security and resilience.
- Optimize system performance, latency, fault tolerance, and resource utilization.
- Integrate third-party banking APIs, payment processors, and financial service providers.
- Support high-volume transaction processing with near real-time performance.
- Implement monitoring, observability, logging, and incident response frameworks.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, business continuity testing, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Ensure engineering practices comply with financial regulations and enterprise governance standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering excellence initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise software engineering.
- Experience working within fintech, digital banking, financial services, or payment technology environments.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing, cloud architecture, and scalable infrastructure.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade systems with high availability and security.
