An internationally focused fintech banking institution is seeking an exceptional Senior Fintech UX/UI Product Designer to shape the future of digital financial experiences across next-generation banking platforms. As digital banking continues to evolve through artificial intelligence, embedded finance, real-time payments, open banking, digital identity, and personalized financial ecosystems, the organization is investing heavily in world-class user experience design. The successful candidate will become an influential member of a multidisciplinary innovation team responsible for creating seamless customer journeys across retail banking, SME banking, wealth management, lending platforms, payment solutions, digital wallets, and mobile-first financial applications.
This role combines strategic product thinking, interaction design excellence, behavioral research, accessibility leadership, and data-informed decision-making to build financial experiences trusted by millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process from discovery to product launch.
- Design intuitive experiences for mobile banking, web banking, payment platforms, lending applications, and digital onboarding journeys.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to identify customer needs and pain points.
- Develop customer personas, journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
- Create scalable design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Researchers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Compliance specialists, and Information Security teams.
- Design AI-assisted financial experiences that simplify complex banking processes.
- Improve customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and conversion through user-centered design.
- Optimize digital accessibility in accordance with international accessibility standards.
- Conduct usability testing and continuously iterate products based on customer feedback and analytics.
- Present design strategies and product concepts to executive leadership.
- Support Agile product development through sprint planning and design reviews.
- Ensure visual consistency across all banking platforms and digital touchpoints.
- Drive innovation by introducing emerging UX methodologies, design thinking workshops, and customer-centric frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 6–10 years of UX/UI design experience within fintech, banking, financial services, SaaS, or digital product organizations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating enterprise-level fintech or banking solutions.
- Deep understanding of digital banking user behavior.
- Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, usability engineering, and responsive design principles.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
