Role Overview
A fast-scaling fintech ecosystem in Dubai is seeking a commercially astute and results-driven Senior Fintech Sales Manager – Digital Payments, Merchant Acquisition & Revenue Expansion to lead high-impact sales initiatives across the region’s rapidly evolving digital payments landscape.
This role sits at the intersection of technology, commerce, and financial innovation, where your primary mission is to drive adoption of cutting-edge payment solutions among enterprises, SMEs, and high-growth digital merchants. You will be responsible for building and executing strategic sales pipelines, negotiating complex deals, and unlocking new revenue streams through innovative fintech offerings.
The ideal candidate understands the intricacies of payment ecosystems—card acquiring, digital wallets, cross-border transactions—and can translate technical value into compelling commercial propositions.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to deal closure across merchant segments
- Identify and acquire high-value clients including e-commerce platforms, retail chains, and digital businesses
- Develop strategic partnerships to expand payment acceptance and transaction volumes
- Present and position fintech payment solutions to senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecasting model
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions with market needs
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and contracts
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to refine sales strategies
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets and KPIs
- Provide market feedback to influence product development
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and commercial standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or financial services sales
- Strong understanding of digital payment systems and merchant solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cross-border payments and global merchant solutions
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
- Strong network within the fintech or payments ecosystem
- Exposure to API-based fintech products
