A highly advanced fintech innovation hub in Manama is seeking a Senior Fintech Product Manager to lead the design, execution, and scaling of next-generation digital banking products within an API-first financial ecosystem. The environment is built around open banking infrastructure, real-time payments, embedded finance capabilities, and intelligent financial services designed for regional and cross-border scalability.
This role sits at the intersection of product innovation, financial infrastructure design, and ecosystem orchestration. The successful candidate will shape how financial services are consumed across mobile platforms, enterprise systems, and embedded digital environments where banking becomes invisible, contextual, and fully integrated into user journeys.
The ecosystem spans digital wallets, merchant acquiring systems, API banking layers, embedded lending engines, AI-driven financial personalization systems, and cloud-native core banking extensions.
Core Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ecosystem Design
- Define and execute product vision for API-driven digital banking and fintech platforms
- Develop multi-year product roadmaps aligned with ecosystem expansion and regional financial innovation strategies
- Identify opportunities for embedded finance across retail, enterprise, telecom, logistics, and digital commerce ecosystems
- Design scalable product frameworks supporting multi-tenant fintech infrastructure
Digital Banking & API Platforms
- Lead development of open banking APIs and developer-facing financial infrastructure
- Oversee integration of payment systems, identity services, onboarding flows, and transaction engines
- Ensure seamless interoperability across banking partners, fintech platforms, and third-party ecosystems
- Collaborate on real-time payments architecture and cross-border financial capabilities
Cross-Functional Product Leadership
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, compliance, cybersecurity, and data science teams
- Translate regulatory requirements into scalable product features
- Prioritize product backlogs based on customer impact, revenue potential, and technical feasibility
- Lead agile delivery cycles for high-impact fintech releases
Customer & Market Intelligence
- Analyze customer behavior patterns across digital financial platforms
- Identify friction points in onboarding, payments, lending, and account management flows
- Conduct competitive benchmarking across regional and global fintech ecosystems
- Drive product optimization using behavioral data and usage analytics
Candidate Profile
- 6–12 years in fintech product management, digital banking, or API platform development
- Strong understanding of open banking, embedded finance, and cloud-native fintech systems
- Experience delivering large-scale digital financial products
- Ability to translate technical architecture into commercial product value
- Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills
