Position Overview
An expanding financial institution is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Banking Operations Manager to oversee enterprise banking operations, operational excellence, service delivery, and continuous process improvement across retail and corporate banking divisions. The successful candidate will lead operational transformation initiatives, optimize banking workflows, strengthen internal controls, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead daily banking operations across multiple business units.

Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency and service quality.

Monitor transaction processing and operational performance.

Oversee payment operations and settlement activities.

Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

Implement operational risk management frameworks.

Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, IT, Finance, and Customer Service teams.

Manage operational budgets and resource planning.

Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Monitor key operational KPIs and service-level agreements.

Develop business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.

Mentor and develop high-performing operations teams.

Identify cost optimization opportunities.

Prepare executive operational reports.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related discipline.

7+ years of banking operations experience.

Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.

Excellent knowledge of banking processes and regulatory frameworks.
