Architect the Digital Connections Powering Modern Finance
An internationally recognized fintech innovator is seeking a Senior API Fintech Developer to lead the engineering of secure, high-performance API ecosystems that connect banks, payment networks, fintech platforms, merchants, and enterprise partners.
This role offers the opportunity to build the digital infrastructure behind next-generation financial services, enabling seamless interoperability, intelligent transaction processing, and scalable financial integrations across the GCC and international markets.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise Open Banking APIs.
- Build scalable Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platforms.
- Engineer secure API gateways and developer portals.
- Develop event-driven financial integration services.
- Implement OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API security standards.
- Build high-performance middleware connecting financial institutions.
- Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop reusable SDKs for enterprise clients.
- Participate in solution architecture and technical governance.
- Mentor software engineers and establish engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Go, or Node.js.
- Strong expertise in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture.
- Familiarity with financial messaging standards.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
