Position Overview
EmploySolution is representing a confidential fintech initiative seeking a Fintech Integration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain integrations between financial platforms, third-party service providers, and digital banking systems. This role is critical to ensuring seamless interoperability across payment ecosystems and financial data infrastructures.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and implement API integrations with payment gateways, banking systems, and fintech service providers
- Maintain secure data exchange frameworks between internal and external financial platforms
- Troubleshoot integration issues, latency problems, and system inconsistencies
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align integration architecture with business requirements
- Ensure all integrations comply with financial data security standards and regional regulations
- Document integration processes, workflows, and system architecture for internal reference
- Optimize system performance by refining API calls, reducing latency, and enhancing reliability
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech, API development, or systems integration
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and JSON/XML data formats
- Familiarity with financial systems such as payment processors, core banking APIs, or digital wallets
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of Open Banking frameworks and API standardization
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
