Position: Remote RegTech Solutions Engineer (Fintech Compliance Systems)

Role Summary
The RegTech Solutions Engineer will design and implement technology-driven compliance systems that enable fintech platforms to meet regulatory requirements efficiently and at scale.
This role blends software engineering with regulatory expertise, focusing on automating compliance processes such as KYC, AML monitoring, and reporting.
Core Responsibilities
System Development
- Build and maintain compliance-focused fintech applications
- Develop APIs for integrating KYC/AML services into financial platforms
- Automate regulatory reporting workflows
Integration & Automation
- Integrate third-party compliance tools and identity verification systems
- Enable real-time monitoring of financial transactions for suspicious activity
- Optimize workflows to reduce manual compliance overhead
Security & Governance
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive customer and financial data
- Implement access controls and audit trails
- Align systems with Qatar’s financial regulations and data protection standards
Technical Requirements
- Programming Languages: Python, Java, or Node.js
- Frameworks: Microservices architecture, REST APIs
- Tools: Compliance platforms, identity verification APIs
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience Profile
- 4–8 years of experience in software engineering or fintech systems
- Exposure to compliance systems or regulatory technology (RegTech)
- Strong understanding of financial data flows and security requirements
Performance Metrics
- Efficiency of compliance workflows
- Accuracy and timeliness of regulatory reporting
- System reliability and security performance
