About the Position
A leading fintech banking organization is seeking an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Manager – Payments, Core Banking & Digital Financial Services to oversee enterprise testing programmes supporting digital payment infrastructures, online banking platforms, mobile financial applications, API ecosystems, and cloud-native banking services.
This strategic leadership role combines quality governance, automation engineering, release management, risk assessment, compliance validation, and enterprise testing excellence. The successful candidate will establish comprehensive testing frameworks that improve software reliability, accelerate release cycles, reduce operational risk, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Working closely with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, DevOps Engineers, Cybersecurity Specialists, Cloud Architects, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Compliance teams, and Executive Technology Leadership, you will lead quality initiatives across multiple high-impact fintech programmes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise software testing programmes across multiple fintech products.
- Define comprehensive quality assurance strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build automated testing pipelines supporting continuous integration and delivery.
- Manage functional, API, mobile, performance, regression, and security testing activities.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve software quality from design through production.
- Analyze quality metrics and drive defect reduction initiatives.
- Conduct release governance and production readiness reviews.
- Ensure regulatory and organizational quality compliance.
- Optimize quality engineering processes through automation and innovation.
- Prepare executive dashboards and quality performance reports.
- Mentor QA professionals while strengthening organizational testing capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging quality technologies and testing methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of quality assurance leadership experience within fintech, banking, digital payments, or enterprise technology.
- Demonstrated expertise in software testing, automation, Agile delivery, and cloud technologies.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
