Position Overview
An internationally expanding fintech organisation is seeking a Principal Mobile FinTech Developer to lead the design and development of next-generation mobile banking and digital payment applications used by consumers and businesses across the GCC.
This is a strategic engineering role responsible for delivering secure, intuitive, and high-performance mobile experiences while guiding technical direction, mentoring engineering teams, and driving mobile innovation.
Primary Responsibilities
Mobile Development
- Design and develop native and cross-platform fintech applications.
- Build secure authentication and payment features.
- Integrate financial APIs and digital wallet services.
- Optimise application performance and reliability.
- Deliver intuitive user experiences.
Architecture & Leadership
- Define mobile engineering standards.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews.
- Mentor software engineers.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
- Champion mobile security best practices.
Quality Engineering
- Develop automated testing strategies.
- Improve application monitoring and crash analytics.
- Manage application releases.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise development standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mobile Computing, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of mobile application development experience.
- Proven experience developing secure financial applications.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
