Position Summary
A globally connected fintech innovation programme is expanding its engineering capability with the appointment of a Principal Distributed Ledger Infrastructure Engineer to design secure, resilient, and high-performance infrastructure supporting enterprise-grade distributed financial platforms.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing scalable infrastructure architectures capable of supporting real-time financial processing, digital asset management, and enterprise transaction systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Infrastructure Architecture
- Design distributed enterprise infrastructure.
- Build cloud-native financial platforms.
- Improve system resilience and scalability.
- Develop disaster recovery strategies.
Platform Engineering
- Automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Optimize Kubernetes environments.
- Strengthen observability and monitoring.
- Improve deployment automation.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor senior infrastructure engineers.
- Establish enterprise engineering standards.
- Lead architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering teams.
Continuous Innovation
- Evaluate emerging infrastructure technologies.
- Improve engineering efficiency.
- Optimize operational performance.
- Support enterprise modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, fintech engineering, or enterprise architecture.
- Strong leadership and architectural decision-making experience.
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
