An advanced fintech engineering programme is expanding its technology leadership capability with the appointment of a Principal DevSecOps Engineering Lead to oversee secure software delivery, cloud infrastructure automation, and enterprise platform resilience.
This role will lead the integration of cybersecurity, automation, and engineering best practices into every phase of the software development lifecycle, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available financial platforms.

Engineering Leadership
- Define enterprise DevSecOps strategy.
- Lead cloud-native platform engineering.
- Build secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Standardise infrastructure automation.
- Improve platform scalability and resilience.
Security Integration
- Embed security into software delivery processes.
- Implement automated vulnerability assessments.
- Strengthen identity and access management.
- Improve security monitoring and incident response.
Platform Optimisation
- Enhance deployment reliability.
- Optimise cloud resource utilisation.
- Improve observability and monitoring.
- Lead disaster recovery planning.
Team Leadership
- Mentor DevSecOps engineers.

- Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 10–15 years’ experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, or fintech infrastructure.
- Experience leading enterprise engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies.
- Excellent technical leadership and communication skills.
