Position Overview
A globally connected fintech ecosystem is recruiting a Principal Financial Systems Reliability Engineer to ensure the continuous availability, scalability, and resilience of enterprise financial platforms supporting millions of secure digital transactions.
The successful candidate will lead reliability engineering initiatives, modernize cloud infrastructure, automate operational processes, and establish best-in-class observability frameworks that support mission-critical financial applications.
Core Responsibilities
Reliability Engineering
- Design highly available financial platforms.
- Improve platform resilience and fault tolerance.
- Develop disaster recovery strategies.
- Enhance system monitoring and observability.
Infrastructure Engineering
- Automate cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Optimize containerized application environments.
- Strengthen infrastructure security.
- Improve enterprise scalability.
Engineering Leadership
- Mentor senior engineers.
- Lead architecture reviews.
- Develop engineering standards.
- Collaborate with software, cloud, and cybersecurity teams.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, site reliability engineering, or fintech technology.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial platforms.
- Excellent leadership and technical decision-making skills.
