Position Overview
A leading fintech organization is investing in the next generation of cloud-native financial platforms and is seeking an accomplished Executive Director – Financial Cloud Engineering & Platform Resilience to lead mission-critical technology transformation.
This executive will oversee enterprise cloud migration, platform engineering, infrastructure modernization, system resilience, and high-availability financial technology operations supporting millions of digital financial transactions.
Primary Responsibilities
Engineering Strategy
- Define enterprise cloud engineering strategy.
- Lead platform modernization initiatives.
- Improve infrastructure scalability.
- Strengthen operational resilience.
- Drive enterprise automation programmes.
Infrastructure Leadership
- Develop cloud governance frameworks.
- Oversee enterprise platform performance.
- Enhance disaster recovery capabilities.
- Improve infrastructure security.
- Optimize engineering operations.
Executive Collaboration
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Partner with business and technology executives.
- Present engineering strategy to senior leadership.
- Mentor technology leaders.
- Promote engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of enterprise engineering leadership experience.
- Proven success delivering cloud transformation programmes.
- Strong architecture and governance expertise.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
