Position Overview
An internationally expanding fintech banking organization is seeking an experienced Principal Cloud Architecture Manager – Financial Technology Platforms to lead the design, implementation, and continuous evolution of secure cloud ecosystems supporting enterprise digital banking services.
This executive-level architectural role focuses on designing cloud-native infrastructures that power digital payments, customer identity services, lending platforms, financial analytics, API banking, intelligent automation, and high-volume transaction processing. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across enterprise cloud strategy while ensuring operational resilience, security, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
Working closely with executive management, cloud engineers, cybersecurity specialists, software engineering leaders, DevSecOps professionals, enterprise architects, compliance officers, and business executives, you will shape the cloud technology roadmap supporting the organization’s ambitious digital transformation journey.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise cloud architecture strategies supporting digital financial services.
- Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud infrastructures.
- Establish cloud governance frameworks, architectural standards, and engineering best practices.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives involving legacy banking applications.
- Design cloud networking, identity management, disaster recovery, and business continuity architectures.
- Optimize cloud performance, operational efficiency, and infrastructure cost management.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement secure cloud controls.
- Guide engineering teams during cloud solution implementation.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and solution validations.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovation opportunities.
- Prepare executive architecture reports and technology investment recommendations.
- Mentor cloud architects and infrastructure engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture experience within fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise technology organizations.
- Strong expertise designing enterprise cloud ecosystems supporting mission-critical financial platforms.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
