Position Overview
A pioneering financial technology programme is expanding its engineering capability and is looking for a highly accomplished Principal Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to architect secure, enterprise-grade distributed financial platforms capable of supporting mission-critical financial operations.
This role requires exceptional engineering expertise combined with strategic thinking to design resilient blockchain infrastructure that enables scalable digital financial services across enterprise environments.
Your Mission
You’ll lead the engineering vision behind high-performance distributed financial infrastructure, ensuring enterprise scalability, reliability, cybersecurity, and operational excellence while mentoring engineering teams and influencing technology strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Architecture & Engineering
- Design enterprise blockchain infrastructure.
- Develop scalable distributed ledger solutions.
- Optimize system performance and resilience.
- Build secure API integrations.
- Create cloud-native deployment strategies.
Platform Reliability
- Improve system availability.
- Strengthen infrastructure observability.
- Enhance disaster recovery planning.
- Automate deployment pipelines.
- Optimize operational efficiency.
Technical Leadership
- Mentor senior engineering teams.
- Define engineering standards.
- Review enterprise architecture.
- Lead technology modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale platforms.
- Strong leadership capability.
- Excellent problem-solving and architectural skills.
