Position Overview
An innovation-focused financial technology organisation is establishing a Centre of Excellence dedicated to enterprise data engineering, intelligent analytics, and AI-driven financial innovation.
The organisation is seeking a highly accomplished Principal – Financial Data Engineering & AI Solutions to design robust data ecosystems that power predictive intelligence, intelligent automation, customer analytics, and executive decision-making.
This strategic technical leadership role offers the opportunity to influence the architecture of next-generation financial platforms while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, analytics, product development, and executive management.
Core Responsibilities
Enterprise Data Engineering
- Design scalable financial data architectures.
- Build enterprise data pipelines.
- Develop cloud-native analytics platforms.
- Improve enterprise data governance.
- Optimise large-scale financial datasets.
Artificial Intelligence
- Develop predictive financial models.
- Build intelligent automation solutions.
- Enhance executive reporting capabilities.
- Improve customer behaviour analytics.
- Support AI innovation initiatives.
Leadership
- Mentor engineering and analytics teams.
- Lead enterprise technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders.
- Present technical strategies to leadership.
- Promote engineering excellence and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fintech, enterprise analytics, AI engineering, or financial technology.
- Strong experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
