An internationally focused financial technology manufacturer is seeking an experienced Microchip Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee production operations supporting secure processors used in payment devices, banking terminals, financial authentication systems, hardware security modules, and digital financial infrastructure.
You will lead multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams while driving operational excellence, production efficiency, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement within a highly regulated technology environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage semiconductor manufacturing operations and production planning.
- Lead engineering, quality, and production teams.
- Optimize manufacturing throughput and production efficiency.
- Oversee equipment utilization and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor manufacturing KPIs and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
- Coordinate new product introduction and manufacturing readiness.
- Drive supplier collaboration and manufacturing optimization.
- Develop workforce capability through coaching and technical leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience managing semiconductor or advanced electronics manufacturing operations.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and production management.
- Excellent leadership and operational planning skills.
- Knowledge of process optimization and manufacturing analytics.
