An internationally expanding fintech banking institution is seeking a commercially minded Market Intelligence Analyst to provide strategic market insights that influence product development, expansion strategies, investment priorities, and competitive positioning.
This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about understanding market dynamics, customer behaviour, emerging technologies, and the evolving financial services landscape. Your research and analysis will help senior leadership identify new opportunities, anticipate industry shifts, and make informed strategic decisions that strengthen the organization’s long-term competitive advantage.
Working closely with Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Customer Experience, Finance, Technology, and Executive Leadership, you will become a trusted source of intelligence supporting enterprise-wide innovation.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research across fintech, banking, payments, and digital financial services.
- Analyze customer trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Develop executive reports, market outlooks, and strategic intelligence briefings.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and geographic expansion prospects.
- Support product teams with customer and market insights.
- Build forecasting models and competitive benchmarking frameworks.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory trends, and innovation ecosystems.
- Present findings to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain market intelligence databases and reporting tools.
- Support strategic planning, mergers, partnerships, and investment assessments.
- Recommend initiatives that enhance commercial growth and customer value.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in market research, strategic analysis, consulting, fintech, banking, or corporate planning.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
