The Strategic Opportunity
A next-generation financial innovation platform is hiring a highly strategic Lead DevOps Engineer – Embedded Finance Platforms & Smart Lending Infrastructure to architect and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting digital lending products, embedded finance ecosystems, merchant funding solutions, and intelligent financial automation systems.
This role requires a highly technical DevOps engineer capable of building resilient operational foundations for loan origination platforms, underwriting engines, repayment systems, SME financing tools, BNPL ecosystems, and treasury-linked lending workflows.
The successful engineer will ensure that these lending platforms operate with maximum reliability, compliance, scalability, and security—while supporting rapid financial product innovation in highly regulated markets.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead DevOps strategy across lending systems, embedded finance platforms, merchant funding products, and customer credit delivery ecosystems
• Design cloud-native architecture supporting underwriting engines, customer onboarding systems, repayment workflows, and servicing platforms
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines for compliance-sensitive product releases and highly controlled operational deployments
• Strengthen Kubernetes infrastructure, container orchestration, and distributed microservices supporting financial transaction workloads
• Implement Infrastructure as Code for scalable, repeatable, and consistent environment provisioning
• Improve monitoring systems, observability frameworks, and incident response capabilities across customer-facing financial applications
• Collaborate with product teams, treasury specialists, compliance leaders, cybersecurity experts, and engineering stakeholders
• Strengthen disaster recovery planning, platform redundancy, and resilience engineering across financial operations
• Support performance optimization involving APIs, databases, backend infrastructure, and operational reporting systems
• Establish DevOps governance standards and mentor engineering teams across long-term platform modernization initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification
• 6–10+ years of DevOps engineering experience with strong exposure to lending platforms, fintech systems, or regulated financial products
• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and cloud automation frameworks
• Experience supporting embedded finance systems, lending operations, or digital banking platforms
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, compliance-sensitive engineering, and security-first infrastructure operations
• Excellent technical leadership and strategic architecture thinking
