Position Summary
An internationally expanding fintech platform is looking for a Head of Fintech Infrastructure Reliability Engineering to ensure the continuous availability, resilience, and scalability of mission-critical financial systems.
This leadership role is responsible for driving reliability engineering practices across payment platforms, cloud-native banking applications, and enterprise financial services. You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams focused on platform stability, observability, automation, and incident response while enabling uninterrupted financial services for millions of customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise SRE strategies.
- Improve platform reliability and service availability.
- Build automated monitoring and observability frameworks.
- Lead cloud infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Reduce operational risk through proactive engineering.
- Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Optimize system performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, and compliance teams.
- Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code.
- Mentor engineering managers and senior reliability engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 10+ years in cloud engineering, SRE, DevOps, or fintech infrastructure.
- Strong leadership experience in highly available production environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
