Role Overview
The Fintech Treasury & Liquidity Operations Manager is responsible for managing the flow of funds across digital financial platforms, ensuring liquidity availability, optimizing cash positions, and maintaining financial stability within transaction ecosystems. This role plays a critical function in ensuring that payment obligations are met efficiently and that financial risks related to liquidity are minimized.
Functional Responsibilities
Liquidity Management
- Monitor daily liquidity positions across multiple accounts and payment channels.
- Ensure sufficient funds are available to support transaction volumes and settlement obligations.
- Forecast short-term and long-term liquidity requirements based on transaction trends.
Treasury Operations
- Manage fund transfers between internal accounts, partner banks, and payment systems.
- Oversee settlement cycles and ensure timely reconciliation of financial movements.
- Coordinate with financial institutions to maintain operational efficiency.
Risk Control
- Identify liquidity risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor exposure to currency fluctuations and transaction imbalances.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and risk policies.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports.
- Analyze transaction flows and recommend improvements for cash management.
- Provide insights to senior stakeholders on financial performance and risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 6–10 years of experience in treasury, liquidity management, or fintech operations.
- Strong understanding of payment systems and financial transaction flows.
