Position Overview
An exceptional opportunity has become available for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to build enterprise-grade backend platforms supporting digital banking, payment processing, and financial applications. This role is designed for experienced software engineers who excel at designing distributed systems, optimizing application performance, and mentoring engineering teams.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of scalable backend architectures while collaborating with solution architects, DevOps engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and product owners to deliver reliable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable backend architectures and application services.
- Develop secure APIs and enterprise microservices.
- Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.
- Integrate applications with databases and third-party platforms.
- Review code and mentor junior software engineers.
- Participate in software architecture and design reviews.
- Implement automated testing and quality assurance processes.
- Support CI/CD deployment and infrastructure automation.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Monitor application performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams.
- Ensure secure coding standards are maintained.
- Maintain technical documentation and coding standards.
- Participate in Agile development activities.
- Drive continuous backend technology improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing enterprise backend applications.
- Strong knowledge of Java, .NET, Go, or Python.
- Experience with cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of relational and distributed database systems.
- Strong understanding of API security and authentication.
- Excellent leadership and technical mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical and communication abilities.
