Position Summary
A confidential financial innovation initiative is seeking an experienced Legal Officer – FinTech Transactions, Data Governance & Technology Law to provide comprehensive legal leadership across digital banking, enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, payment infrastructure, cloud transformation, and financial data governance programmes.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of law, finance, and technology, ensuring that enterprise innovation initiatives remain legally resilient while supporting business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Advise on complex fintech transactions.

Draft enterprise technology agreements.

Prepare cloud service contracts.

Review software implementation agreements.

Support enterprise AI deployment initiatives.

Develop legal governance frameworks.

Advise on financial data protection obligations.

Review customer platform terms and policies.

Draft payment ecosystem agreements.

Support Open Banking collaboration frameworks.

Conduct legal risk assessments.

Monitor regional and international legal developments.

Assist enterprise procurement activities.

Prepare board-level legal reports.
-
Coordinate legal due diligence exercises.

Manage external legal advisers.

Support intellectual property management.

Review cybersecurity contractual obligations.

Advise on enterprise operational risk.

Develop legal compliance awareness programmes.

Maintain legal documentation governance.

Strengthen enterprise legal processes.

Participate in executive steering committees.

Support strategic business expansion initiatives.
Required Qualifications
-
LL.B. or LL.M. from an accredited institution.

Minimum 7–10 years of legal experience.

Strong fintech, banking, or technology law background.

Extensive commercial contract drafting expertise.

Experience advising executive stakeholders.
-
Knowledge of privacy, technology, and financial regulations.

Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Strong commercial awareness.
