An elite fintech transformation programme is recruiting an accomplished Legal Officer – Enterprise FinTech Governance, Digital Assets & Strategic Legal Advisory to oversee legal strategy across enterprise digital finance initiatives, payment innovation, blockchain-enabled financial services, technology procurement, commercial transactions, and corporate governance.

This highly strategic legal role requires an exceptional professional capable of balancing legal precision with commercial insight while supporting ambitious enterprise growth through proactive legal risk management, regulatory interpretation, technology contracting, and governance excellence.

The Legal Officer will partner with senior executives, technology architects, product leaders, cybersecurity specialists, finance teams, and operational leadership to ensure that complex fintech initiatives are legally robust, commercially effective, and aligned with evolving international standards.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise legal strategies supporting fintech transformation.

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.

• Advise on blockchain and digital asset initiatives.

• Review enterprise payment infrastructure contracts.

• Support cloud and digital platform procurement.

• Develop legal governance frameworks.

• Advise on technology outsourcing arrangements.

• Conduct legal due diligence for strategic initiatives.

• Manage enterprise legal risk registers.

• Support executive governance committees.

• Review intellectual property protections.

• Strengthen legal documentation standards.

• Interpret evolving financial legislation.

• Coordinate external counsel engagements.

• Advise on customer-facing legal documentation.

Professional Requirements

• Law degree (LL.B. or LL.M.).

• Qualified legal practitioner with at least 8 years of experience.

• Significant exposure to fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise technology.

• Advanced commercial drafting and negotiation expertise.

• Experience in corporate governance and technology law.

• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.

• Ability to manage complex legal portfolios across multiple business functions.
