Position: Remote Fintech Systems Engineer – Hospitality Platforms
Location: Remote – Qatar

Role Summary
The Fintech Systems Engineer will design and maintain financial infrastructure supporting hotel operations, ensuring seamless integration between booking systems, payment gateways, and financial reporting tools.
This role is highly technical and focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance fintech solutions tailored to hospitality environments.
Core Technical Responsibilities
System Integration
- Integrate payment gateways with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Central Reservation Systems (CRS)
- Develop APIs enabling real-time synchronization of booking and payment data
- Ensure interoperability between hospitality platforms and fintech services
Infrastructure Development
- Build and maintain transaction processing systems for high-volume booking environments
- Design scalable architectures supporting seasonal demand fluctuations
- Optimize system performance for speed, reliability, and uptime
Security & Compliance
- Implement secure data transmission protocols and encryption standards
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and data protection laws in Qatar
- Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies
Technology Stack Expectations
- Programming: Java, Python, or Node.js
- APIs: RESTful services and microservices architecture
- Databases: SQL/NoSQL systems
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience Requirements
- 4–8 years in software engineering or fintech systems development
- Experience with payment systems and hospitality platforms
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles and financial data flows
Performance Metrics
- System uptime and transaction success rates
- API response times and scalability
- Security incident prevention and resolution
