Role Overview
The Fintech Risk Analytics Manager will lead the design and execution of risk measurement frameworks across digital financial products, ensuring that lending, payments, and transactional systems operate within defined risk thresholds.
This role requires a professional with a strong command of quantitative analysis, financial risk modeling, and regulatory awareness, capable of translating complex data into actionable risk insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain risk models covering credit, fraud, and operational risk
- Analyze transaction data to identify anomalies and emerging risk patterns
- Design risk dashboards and reporting frameworks for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to embed risk controls into fintech systems
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and internal governance standards
- Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis for financial products
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Support audit processes and regulatory reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in risk analytics, fintech, or banking
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, or R)
- Solid understanding of financial risk concepts and regulatory frameworks
Preferred Competencies
- Experience with machine learning models for fraud detection
- Familiarity with digital lending and payment systems
- Strong communication skills for presenting analytical insights
