Position Overview
The Regulatory Reporting & Controls Analyst is responsible for ensuring that fintech operations meet regulatory reporting requirements while maintaining strong internal control mechanisms. This role integrates financial reporting, compliance monitoring, and governance practices.
Functional Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting
- Prepare and submit reports required by financial regulators in Bahrain.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all submissions.
Controls & Governance
- Support the implementation of internal control frameworks.
- Monitor adherence to policies and procedures across fintech operations.
Data Validation & Integrity
- Verify the accuracy of financial and operational data used in reporting.
- Identify inconsistencies and coordinate corrective actions.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain organized records for regulatory inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in regulatory reporting, compliance, or financial controls.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
- Understanding of financial reporting standards
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (AML/KYC)
