Role Objective
To expand and optimize merchant acquiring and payment acceptance capabilities, ensuring that businesses can seamlessly accept digital payments while maintaining high operational and financial performance.
Key Outcomes You Will Own
Merchant Growth & Enablement
- Onboard new merchants onto payment platforms
- Ensure smooth integration and activation
- Support merchants in optimizing payment acceptance
Transaction Performance Optimization
- Improve transaction approval rates
- Reduce payment failures and declines
- Monitor payment flows and identify inefficiencies
Operational Efficiency
- Streamline onboarding and support processes
- Improve turnaround times for merchant requests
- Enhance internal workflows
Revenue & Financial Performance
- Monitor transaction volumes and revenue metrics
- Identify opportunities for growth
- Support pricing and fee optimization strategies
Risk & Compliance Accountability
- Ensure compliance with payment regulations
- Monitor merchant activities for risk exposure
- Support fraud prevention and risk management efforts
Detailed Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with merchants and partners
- Coordinate with technical teams for payment integration
- Analyze transaction data and generate insights
- Support dispute resolution and chargeback management
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in payments, merchant acquiring, or fintech
- Strong understanding of payment acceptance systems
- Experience managing merchant relationships
- Analytical and operational expertise
