Role Summary
The Fintech Digital Wallet Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, reliability, and user experience of digital wallet systems. The role focuses on ensuring seamless wallet functionality, transaction accuracy, and operational continuity across Bahrain’s fintech ecosystem.
Core Deliverables
1. Wallet System Stability
- Ensure continuous availability and performance of digital wallet platforms.
- Monitor system uptime, transaction success rates, and operational health.
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve system issues promptly.
2. Transaction Operations Oversight
- Supervise daily wallet transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions.
- Address transaction failures and user-reported issues efficiently.
3. User Experience Enhancement
- Identify operational pain points affecting wallet users.
- Implement improvements to streamline transaction processes.
- Support initiatives that enhance usability and accessibility.
4. Risk & Compliance Coordination
- Ensure wallet operations comply with Bahrain financial regulations.
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activities.
- Work closely with compliance teams on risk mitigation.
5. Reporting & Accountability
- Prepare operational reports on wallet performance metrics.
- Track KPIs such as transaction volumes and error rates.
- Provide insights for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in fintech operations or digital payments.
- Strong understanding of digital wallet systems and transaction flows.
- Experience managing remote operational teams or processes.
