Position Overview
A forward-looking financial technology organization is seeking an experienced Fintech Cybersecurity Manager to lead enterprise cybersecurity initiatives across digital banking platforms, payment ecosystems, and cloud infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for developing security strategies, managing cyber risks, and ensuring resilient protection of critical financial technology assets while supporting innovation and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategies for fintech operations.
- Lead cybersecurity governance, risk management, and security compliance initiatives.
- Oversee Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and incident response programs.
- Manage cybersecurity risk assessments across applications, cloud platforms, and payment systems.
- Establish secure architecture standards for digital financial solutions.
- Lead vulnerability management and penetration testing programs.
- Develop cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on cyber resilience and business continuity planning.
- Oversee third-party security assessments and technology risk evaluations.
- Present cybersecurity metrics and risk reports to senior management.
- Mentor cybersecurity professionals and build high-performing security teams.
- Monitor global cyber threat trends affecting financial technology organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity leadership within financial services, fintech, or technology organizations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, application security, digital payment security, and enterprise risk management.
- Experience leading incident response, security governance, and cyber defense programs.
- Familiarity with financial cybersecurity regulations and international security standards.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
