Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager with deep fintech acumen to drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition, ecosystem partnerships, and embedded finance opportunities. This role demands a sharp understanding of B2B financial products, open banking, digital wallets, and the regulatory environment governing fintech across key markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Expansion: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in digital lending, payments infrastructure, or embedded finance, targeting high-growth verticals such as e-commerce, logistics, or SaaS platforms.

  • Partnership Development: Build strategic partnerships with banks, payment gateways, API aggregators, and neobanks to expand product reach and enable joint go-to-market initiatives.

  • Sales Execution: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and product demos to negotiations and closing—with a clear emphasis on long-term client value and ARR.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on fintech regulation (e.g., PSD2, RBI guidelines, MAS licensing) and competitor moves to shape positioning and pricing strategies.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure partner integration and client onboarding are aligned with technical and regulatory requirements.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a data-driven sales pipeline using tools like HubSpot or Salesforce; forecast revenue, track conversion metrics, and report regularly to senior leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–6 years of business development experience in a fintech company, neobank, or financial API platform

  • Demonstrated success closing B2B deals with payment providers, digital lenders, or financial SaaS platforms

  • Deep understanding of financial infrastructure APIs, onboarding/KYC flows, and monetization models in fintech

  • Experience working with compliance, legal, and product teams to launch or scale complex integrations

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders
