Position: Remote Fintech Credit Risk & Decisioning Specialist
Location: Remote (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)

Role Summary
This role is structured around clear timelines and measurable milestones, focusing on building and optimizing credit risk frameworks within a fintech lending environment. The Credit Risk & Decisioning Specialist will play a key role in enhancing loan approval systems and minimizing default risks.
First 90 Days (Onboarding & Assessment Phase)
- Review existing credit risk models and decisioning systems.
- Analyze historical loan performance data and identify key risk indicators.
- Assess gaps in current underwriting and scoring methodologies.
3–6 Months (Implementation Phase)
- Develop improved credit scoring models using statistical and rule-based approaches.
- Implement automated decisioning systems for loan approvals and rejections.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate risk models into lending platforms.
6–12 Months (Optimization Phase)
- Continuously refine risk models based on performance data.
- Reduce default rates while maintaining healthy approval volumes.
- Introduce advanced analytics or machine learning techniques where applicable.
Core Responsibilities (Ongoing)
- Monitor loan portfolio performance and risk exposure.
- Adjust credit policies based on market conditions and regulatory requirements.
- Generate detailed risk reports for internal stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in credit risk, fintech lending, or banking.
- Strong knowledge of credit scoring, underwriting, and risk modeling.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python preferred).
- Understanding of loan lifecycle and financial risk principles.
