Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end workflow of card issuing and transaction processing, ensuring that debit, prepaid, and virtual card products operate efficiently across digital platforms. The position requires deep operational control, coordination with processing partners, and continuous optimization of transaction performance.
Operational Workflow Ownership
Card Issuance & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee card issuance processes including virtual and physical cards
- Manage card activation, suspension, renewal, and cancellation workflows
- Ensure accurate customer data linkage and card provisioning
Transaction Processing & Authorization
- Monitor card transactions across authorization, clearing, and settlement stages
- Ensure high authorization approval rates and minimal transaction failures
- Coordinate with processors and networks to resolve transaction issues
Dispute & Chargeback Handling
- Manage dispute resolution processes for declined or contested transactions
- Handle chargeback workflows and ensure timely responses
- Maintain records and documentation for all dispute cases
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track KPIs such as approval rates, processing times, and failure rates
- Identify inefficiencies in transaction workflows
- Implement process improvements and automation
Compliance & Risk Oversight
- Ensure adherence to card scheme rules and financial regulations
- Monitor suspicious transaction patterns
- Support audits and compliance reporting
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in card operations, payments, or fintech
- Strong understanding of card issuing and processing systems
- Experience with transaction monitoring and dispute management
- Ability to manage remote operations effectively
