Role Overview
This role manages the end-to-end lifecycle of payment cards, from issuance and activation to usage monitoring and eventual deactivation, ensuring seamless customer experiences and operational efficiency across fintech platforms.
Capability Journey
Card Issuance & Setup
- Oversee creation and issuance of physical and virtual cards
- Ensure accurate customer data mapping
- Coordinate card configuration settings (limits, permissions, usage rules)
Activation & Customer Enablement
- Support card activation processes
- Ensure smooth onboarding for cardholders
- Address activation-related issues and inquiries
Transaction Monitoring & Support
- Monitor card transactions for success and anomalies
- Assist with declined transactions and troubleshooting
- Ensure smooth usage across POS, online, and mobile channels
Lifecycle Management & Updates
- Manage card renewals, replacements, and upgrades
- Update card settings based on user needs or regulatory changes
- Maintain lifecycle records and system accuracy
Risk, Compliance & Closure
- Monitor for fraudulent or suspicious activity
- Ensure compliance with payment regulations
- Handle card deactivation and account closure processes
Extended Responsibilities
- Improve card lifecycle workflows
- Enhance customer experience across card usage stages
- Collaborate with payment networks and technical teams
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of experience in card operations, payments, or fintech
- Strong understanding of card lifecycle management
- Experience with transaction monitoring systems
- Ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams
