CONTROL MANDATE
The Financial Controller will oversee financial reporting, management controls, reconciliation frameworks, and financial-performance integrity within a technology-driven financial environment.
The role requires a finance professional capable of combining traditional financial discipline with the complexity of high-volume digital transactions, automated financial systems, payment settlements, and technology-enabled reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead financial reporting and management-accounting processes.

Establish robust financial-control frameworks for digital transactions.

Oversee reconciliation of payment and financial-platform activity.

Analyse transaction flows and investigate financial discrepancies.

Develop monthly and quarterly financial-performance reporting.

Establish financial dashboards and management information systems.

Monitor revenue recognition, operating expenditure, and financial performance.

Partner with technology teams to automate financial reporting.

Review financial processes and identify control weaknesses.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

Coordinate internal and external audit requirements.

Provide senior leadership with accurate financial intelligence.
REQUIRED PROFILE

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.

8+ years of experience in financial control, fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.

Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliation, financial reporting, and control frameworks.

Experience with ERP, financial-management, or transaction-processing systems.

Advanced analytical and reporting capabilities.

Professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
