Lead the Evolution of Financial Innovation
An internationally expanding financial technology institution is seeking an accomplished Executive Director to lead enterprise-wide digital banking modernization across one of the Gulf’s most dynamic financial markets.
This opportunity is designed for transformational leaders capable of architecting large-scale financial innovation initiatives, accelerating intelligent automation, optimizing digital customer experiences, and establishing resilient payment ecosystems that redefine financial services.
You will collaborate directly with executive leadership, government stakeholders, regulatory bodies, technology partners, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to establish next-generation banking capabilities that support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Strategic Leadership Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise digital banking transformation strategies.
- Lead modernization of payment platforms, lending ecosystems, and digital financial services.
- Direct cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, Cybersecurity, Operations, Data Science, and Risk Management.
- Build long-term innovation roadmaps supporting AI-enabled financial services.
- Develop enterprise governance frameworks ensuring operational resilience.
- Establish strategic partnerships with financial institutions and technology providers.
- Drive customer-centric innovation initiatives through data-driven decision-making.
- Present transformation strategies to executive committees and board members.
- Manage enterprise investment portfolios supporting digital innovation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
Executive Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of leadership experience within financial technology or banking.
- Strong understanding of enterprise payment ecosystems.
- Demonstrated success leading digital transformation programs.
- Outstanding executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
