The Opportunity
A high-impact executive opportunity for a visionary Director to shape the next generation of digital financial infrastructure across one of the world’s most dynamic fintech markets.
This role sits at the intersection of digital payments, intelligent banking infrastructure, financial technology, data-driven decision-making, and large-scale transformation. The successful professional will translate emerging technologies and evolving customer expectations into scalable financial platforms capable of operating across complex regional and international environments.
You will define strategic priorities, influence enterprise architecture, accelerate payment innovation, and establish operating models that connect technology, finance, risk, product, and commercial objectives.
Strategic Mandate

Develop and execute a multi-year fintech and digital-payments transformation strategy.

Architect scalable payment ecosystems spanning cards, wallets, account-to-account payments, merchant acquiring and embedded finance.

Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, blockchain infrastructure, tokenisation and real-time payment systems.

Lead cross-functional transformation programmes involving technology, product, finance, operations and risk.

Establish performance frameworks using transaction economics, customer analytics and operational intelligence.

Identify opportunities for automation and intelligent decisioning across financial processes.

Drive partnerships with technology providers, payment networks and financial institutions.

Translate regulatory, technological and market developments into actionable business strategies.

Build resilient operating models capable of supporting rapid regional expansion.
Executive Impact
The Director will be expected to operate beyond conventional programme management. The mandate requires systems thinking, commercial judgment and technological fluency—with the ability to connect individual payment products to broader financial ecosystems.
Success will be measured through platform scalability, operational efficiency, payment performance, customer adoption, innovation velocity and measurable enterprise value creation.
Ideal Profile

10+ years of experience across fintech, banking, payments, financial technology or digital transformation.

Demonstrated leadership of complex technology or financial-services programmes.

Strong understanding of payment architecture and digital financial ecosystems.

Excellent knowledge of product strategy, technology transformation and financial analytics.

Experience engaging senior executives and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Strong commercial, analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities.

Ability to communicate sophisticated technical concepts to executive audiences.

International or GCC-market experience is highly advantageous.
Compensation
Indicative Executive Package: AED 55,000–85,000 monthly, depending on experience and scope, plus performance incentives and executive benefits.
