THE OPPORTUNITY
An elite opportunity for a commercially sophisticated Director to identify, evaluate and shape high-value opportunities across the rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
This role is designed for an investment-minded financial-technology leader who can move confidently between market intelligence, financial modelling, technology assessment, commercial strategy and executive decision-making.
You will assess emerging fintech businesses, technologies and market opportunities while developing strategies capable of generating sustainable long-term value.
INVESTMENT & STRATEGY MANDATE

Develop fintech investment and strategic-venture frameworks.

Identify emerging opportunities across payments, digital banking, AI, WealthTech and financial infrastructure.

Conduct market, competitor and technology assessments.

Build detailed financial models and investment cases.

Evaluate business models, unit economics and scalability.

Assess technology architecture and product maturity.
-
Identify strategic partnerships and acquisition opportunities.

Develop market-entry and expansion strategies.
-
Present investment theses and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Monitor portfolio and strategic-initiative performance.

Track emerging fintech categories, competitive movements and technology disruption.
Financial Analysis
Develop forecasts, valuation frameworks, scenario models and investment cases.
Technology Assessment
Evaluate the scalability, maturity and strategic relevance of fintech technologies.
Commercial Strategy
Identify monetisation opportunities and sustainable growth models.
Executive Advisory
Translate complex investment and technology information into concise strategic recommendations.
IDEAL PROFILE

10–15+ years in fintech, investment banking, venture capital, consulting, corporate strategy or financial technology.

Strong financial-modelling capabilities.

Deep understanding of fintech business models.

Experience evaluating technology-driven companies or investments.

Excellent commercial judgement.

Strong understanding of payments and digital banking.

Exceptional executive communication and negotiation skills.
INDICATIVE PACKAGE
AED 65,000–100,000 monthly, depending on experience and strategic mandate, with potential performance incentives and executive benefits.
