Position Title: Remote Digital Wallet Operations & Reconciliation Manager

Role Purpose
The Digital Wallet Operations & Reconciliation Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of digital wallet systems. This role focuses on managing transactional flows, reconciling financial records, and maintaining operational integrity across wallet-based financial services.
Role Architecture Breakdown
Transaction Oversight
- Monitor incoming and outgoing wallet transactions in real time
- Ensure successful execution of peer-to-peer transfers, bill payments, and merchant transactions
- Identify and resolve failed or delayed transactions
Reconciliation Framework
- Perform end-of-day and periodic reconciliation between wallet balances and backend financial systems
- Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain reconciliation logs for audit and compliance purposes
Operational Control & Risk Monitoring
- Establish internal controls to minimize transaction errors and fraud risks
- Monitor unusual transaction patterns and escalate suspicious activities
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations
Process Enhancement
- Identify inefficiencies in wallet operations and propose improvements
- Implement automation tools to streamline reconciliation processes
- Optimize transaction workflows for better speed and accuracy
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 4–6 years of experience in fintech operations or digital payments
- Strong understanding of wallet systems and reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
